New Beginnings

     The Lord is mighty and oh so sovereign. Recently we have been trying to do our part in promoting One Route Adventures in a variety of ways. Some of these ways of promoting include asking the Lord for opportunities to share the vision of One Route Adventures, asking the Lord to provide another individual to help out part time with One Route Adventures, and seeking the Father in finding a location to base this ministry out of. God is good.

• Individuals have been asking what One Route Adventures is about almost everyday which has given us the opportunity to share our vision for this ministry and ultimately avenues for sharing the gospel. Part of the curiosity comes from adults asking why would we want to do something like this. Our reply is simple. We love the outdoors and sharing the good news of Jesus in a rejuvenating way.

• June has come and gone but not with-out an incredible addition to One Route Adventures. We have been praying for an individual who would catch the vision of One Route Adventures and has a passion for learning new things, loves getting outdoors and has a personal relationship with Christ. Without mentioning this opening, the Lord led Kaleb Ross right down our path. Kaleb is young and enthusiastic about both the outdoors and sharing the gospel. There will be more about Kaleb coming in a later blog.

• One Route Adventures is picking up the pace and needs a convenient place. We have found a potential facility but still have a long way to go. Be in prayer that the Lord will show us this is where he would have us set up shop and that the adequate funds would come to fruition. We are excite to see what He has in store for this ministry!

Our mission at One Route Adventures is to lead groups to experience the Lord in an outdoor environment while learning Outdoor Skill, Group Development, Adventure, FUN and the Love of Christ! We are based on the scripture passage John 14:6 - "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me." 

One Route Adventures inspires individuals to explore with purpose. Explore your job, schooling, personal adventures and life with purpose. The Lord is allowing us to guide groups so that we can teach outdoor skill, spike interest in getting out, promote healthy living, stewardship, and see the Creators handy work.  

Turn off your gadgets, get out and enjoy creation. Play in the rain and get wet just for the fun of it. Take a picture of a cloud. Identify tree species. Research local waterfalls. Smell some fresh flowers. Pick some blackberries. Play in a creek.
